Attended to the Women and Youth Leadership and Capacity Building (Part 1) in Bangkok, Thailand

On October, 21 to 25, The three representative of CTUM attended to the Women and Youth Leadership and Capacity Building training in Bangkok, Thailand. This training supported by ITUC-AP, DGB/BW and ATUC. Total 34 Participants from Lao, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Timor.
In the Five day, the following subjects were discussed.
– Introduce the new ITUC-AP/DGB BW Project, including its goals and objectives, components and activities.
– Women and Youth in ASEAN, what are the challenges and opportunities facing women and youth in ASEAN.
– The national economic and how they affect conditions of work and life which is included Basic economic concepts, Economic Performance and Issues, Economic Growth and Productivity, Product Markets: Supply and demand.
– Introduce and Discussion on Decent Work, Agenda and strategic objectives
– International Labour Standards, how to use International Labor Standards and Core Convention
– Introduce and Discussion on the Future of Work and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and How to use SDGs in Trade Unions, What are the most important for the Trade Unions.
– Climate Justice and Just Transition, How related in this issue at the Trade Union.
– Gender Equality
– Leadership Skills
– Discussion on Elements of a Training/ Instructional Design,
– Discussion The Draft National Strategic Plan on our Organizations/countries

Training objectives are;
At the end of the training, the participants shall have:
1) Explained and analyzed from a gender perspective the current developments affecting workers and unions as well as future trends in the world of work;
2) Internalized the concept and importance of leadership and the qualities of an effective trade union leader;
3) Summarized M&E terminology and identified how M&E is used to improve planning and manage and improve the programs and activities of trade unions;
4) Described and discussed the concept and importance of communication and training/education strategies in increasing the participation of women and youth in trade union leadership and actions; and
5) Discussed suggestions and recommendations to improve the M&E system of the existing re-entry action plans.

၂၀၁၉ ခုႏွစ္၊ ေအာက္တုိဘာလ (၂၁) ရက္ေန႕မွ (၂၅) ရက္ေန႕အထိ အျပည္ျပည္ဆုိင္ရာ အလုပ္သမားသမဂၢမ်ားအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္-အာရွႏွင့္ပစိဖိတ္ေဒသ (ITUC-AP) ၊ ဂ်ာမဏီႏို္င္ငံ အလုပ္သမားသမဂၢမ်ားအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္၏ ေသြးစည္းညီညြတ္ေရးကူညီေပးေရးအဖြဲ႕ (DGB/BW) ႏွင့္ အာဆီယံအလုပ္သမားသမဂၢမ်ားအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ (ATUC) တုိ႕မွ ပူးေပါင္းျပဳလုပ္ေသာ အမ်ဳိးသမီးႏွင့္ လူငယ္ဆုိင္ရာ ေခါင္းေဆာင္မႈႏွင့္ စြမ္းရည္ျမႇင့္တင္ျခင္းသင္တန္းသို႕ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံလံုးဆိုင္ရာအလုပ္သမား သမဂၢမ်ားအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ (CTUM) အား ကိုယ္စားျပဳ၍ ဦးေဇာ္၀င္းေအာင္ (ေလ့က်င့္ပညာေပးေရးဌာန)၊ ေဒၚစႏၵာစုိး (သုေတသနႏွင့္ သတင္းအခ်က္အလက္သိမ္းဆည္းေရးဌာ)ႏွင့္ ေဒၚေဆြေဆြခိုင္ (အမ်ဳိးသမီးေကာ္မတီ) တုိ႕သည္ ထုိင္းႏုိင္ငံ ဘန္ေကာက္ၿမိဳ႕တြင္ တက္ေရာက္ခဲ့ပါသည္။

သင္တန္းသုိ႕ အာဆီယံေဒသတြင္းႏုိင္ငံမ်ားျဖစ္သည့္ လာအိုႏုိင္ငံ၊ မေလးရွားႏုိင္ငံ၊ ဗီယက္နမ္ႏုိင္ငံ၊ ဖိလစ္ပုိင္ႏုိင္ငံ၊ ကေမၻာဒီးယားႏုိင္ငံ၊ အင္ဒိုနီးရွားႏုိင္ငံ၊ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံ၊ ထုိင္းႏုိင္ငံႏွင့္ တီေမာႏိုင္ငံတုိ႕မွ အမ်ဳိးသမီးႏွင့္ လူငယ္ စုစုေပါင္း (၃၄) ဦး တက္ေရာက္ခဲ့ပါသည္။
