အမ်ိဳးသမီးအဖြဲ႕ဝင္အင္အားအမ်ားစုရွိေသာ ျမန္မာနုိင္ငံကုန္ထုတ္နွင္႔စက္မႈလက္မႈအလုပ္သမားမ်ား အဖြဲ႕ ခ်ဳပ္သည္ ၎၏ အမ်ိဳးသမီးအဖြဲ႕ဝင္မ်ားကို အဖက္ဖက္မွ အရည္အေသြးျမင္႔တင္ေရးႀကိဳးပမ္းေဆာင္ရြက္ လ်က္ရွိပါသည္။ အဆုိပါ ရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္ျဖင္႔ အမ်ိဳးသမီးမ်ားနွင္႔ အမ်ိဳးသမီးေကာ္မတီမ်ားအတြက္ က်ားမဆုိင္ ရာကိစၥရပ္မ်ား ဆုိင္ရာ သင္တန္းတစ္ခုကို IndustriALL Myanmar Union Building Project ၏ ပ႔ံပိုးမႈ ျဖင္႔
၂၀၁၉ ခုနွစ္၊ နုိဝင္ဘာလ ၂၊၃ ရက္ေန႔မ်ားတြင္ ရန္ကုန္တုိင္း အေရွ႔ဒဂုံျမိဳ႕နယ္ရွိ ျမန္မာနုိင္ငံလုံးဆုိင္ရာ အလုပ္သမားသမဂၢမ်ားအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ (Confederation of Trade Unions of Myanmar- CTUM) ၏ ေသြးစည္း ညီညြတ္ေရးခန္းမ၌ က်င္းပေနပါသည္။
၎နွစ္ရက္တာသင္တန္းသုိ႔ သင္တန္းဦးေဆာင္ေဆြးေႏြးသူ၊အေထာက္အကူျပဳကူညီသူမ်ား အပါအဝင္ အေျခခံသမဂၢ ၁၃ ကို ကိုယ္စားျပဳေသာ အမ်ိဳးသမီးအဖြဲ႕ဝင္ ၂၄ ဦးနွင္႔ အမ်ိဳးသား ၃ ဦး၊ စုစုေပါင္း ၂၇ ဦးတက္ေရာက္၍ က်ား/မ အေျချပဳအႀကမ္းဖက္မႈနွင္႔ ၎အားတုိက္ဖ်က္ရာတြင္ေတြ႕ရေသာအခက္အခဲမ်ား အမ်ိဳးသမီးလုပ္သားမ်ား လုပ္ငန္းခြင္နွင္႔ လူမႈအသို္င္းအဝုိင္းတြင္ႀကဳံေတြ႕ေနရေသာ အခက္အခဲမ်ား၊ စိမ္ေခၚမႈမ်ား ကို တဦးခ်င္းနွင္႔ အုပ္စုလုိက္ေဆြးေႏြးႀကပါသည္။
ထုိ႔အျပင္ အမ်ိဳးသမီးကို ကာကြယ္မႈေပးေသာ လက္ရွိျမန္မာနုိင္ငံ၏တည္ဆဲဥပေဒမ်ား၊အမ်ိဳးသမီးသမဂၢအဖြဲ႔ ဝင္မ်ားအား ေခါင္းေဆာင္မႈပိုင္းတြင္ ပါဝင္ေဆာင္ရြက္ရန္ ဟန္႔တားေနေသာအရာမ်ား၊ အလုပ္သမားသမဂၢ လႈပ္ရွားမႈနွင္႔ က်ားမဆုိင္ရာကိစၥရပ္ျပႆနာမ်ားကို ကိုင္တြယ္ရန္၊ယခု သင္တန္းမွ ရရွိေသာ ဗဟုသုတ မ်ား ကို ျပန္လည္ေဝမွ်ရန္ အစီအစဥ္ေရးဆြဲခ်မွတ္ျခင္းမ်ားကို ဒုတိယေန႔သင္တန္းအစီအစဥ္မ်ားအျဖစ္ေဆာင္ ရြက္သြားမည္ျဖစ္ပါသည္။
Having a large number of women membership, IWFM has been trying to enhance the capacity of its women unionist in all aspects with the support of IndustriALL Myanmar Union Building Project co-funded by SASK, FNV, FES, and IndustriALL. With this aim, IWFM is conducting a two-day training workshop on Gender Issues for its women and women committees on 2/3 November 2019 at Solidarity Hall of CTUM in East Dagon Township, Yangon.
A total of 27 participants representing 13 different unions and including the resource persons actively participated in the individual and group discussions on gender-based violence, the obstacles in eliminating it as well as the challenges and problems which women workers are currently facing at workplaces and in the community.
The expectation of the participants, the existing laws in Myanmar which protect women and women workers, the barriers which prevent the women union members from taking the leadership roles in the respective unions, and action plans to boost the women participation in trade union movements, the capacity to handle the gender issues and to share the knowledge gained from this two-day event will be included in the second day’s training sessions.
