စညး္ရံုးေရးေဆာင္ရြက္ျခင္း ေဆြးေႏြးမႈ

၂၀၁၈ ခုႏွစ္ စက္တင္ဘာလ (၁-၂) ရက္ေန႔ စစ္ကိုင္းတိုင္း၊ စစ္ကိုင္းၿမိဳ႕နယ္တြင္ ျပဳလုပ္က်င္းပေသာ စညး္ရံုးေရးေဆာင္ရြက္ျခင္း ေဆြးေႏြးမႈ (၂) ရက္တာ သင္တန္းအား ျပဳလုပ္က်င္းပခဲ့ပါသည္။ ၄င္းသင္တန္းတြင္ ဦးေသာင္းညႊန္႔ (ဥကၠ႒ – MWFM)၊ ဦးျမင့္ဦး (ဒုဥကၠ႒ – MWFM)၊ ေဒၚဇြန္ပြင့္ျဖဴ (သင္တန္းမွဴး – MWFM) တို႔မွ ဦးေဆာင္ေဆြးေႏြး သင္ၾကားေပးခဲ့ပါသည္။ သင္တန္းတြင္ စုစုေပါင္း (၂၇) ဦး၊ က်ား (၂၃) ဦး၊ မ (၄) ဦး တက္ေရာက္ခဲ့ၾကပါသည္။ တက္ေရာက္ခဲ့ၾကသည့္ သတၱဳလုပ္ငန္းမ်ားမွာ –

ယခုကဲ့သို႔ သင္တန္းျပဳလုပ္ရျခင္း၏ ရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္မွာ စည္းရံုးေရးျပဳလုပ္ရာတြင္ ၾကံဳေတြ႕ေနရသည့္ အခတ္အခဲမ်ား၊ ေနရာေဒသ၊ အေျခအေနမ်ားေပၚတြင္ မူတည္၍ အဖြဲ႕၀င္မ်ားတိုးပြားလာေစရန္ အေျဖရွာႏိုင္ေရး၊ တရားမ၀င္ လုပ္ငန္းလုပ္ကိုင္ေနရသည့္ ေရမေဆးေက်ာက္ရွာေဖြေရး အလုပ္သမားမ်ား၏ အခြင့္အေရး မ်ားရရွိေရး အစိုးရႏွင့္ ပူးေပါင္းေဆာင္ရြက္မႈ အေျခအေနမ်ား၊ လုပ္ငန္းခြင္ ေဘးအႏၱာရယ္ကင္းရွင္းေရးကိစၥ ရပ္မ်ားႏွင့္ ပတ္သက္၍ မိမိ၏ အဖြဲ႕၀င္မ်ား ေဘးအႏၱာရယ္ကင္းရွင္းေစရန္ ေဆာင္ရြက္မႈအေျခအေနမ်ားကို လုပ္ငန္းခြင္အတြင္းရွိ အဖြဲ႕၀င္မ်ားအား ျပန္လည္ ရွင္းျပႏိုင္ၿပီး၊ အဖြဲ႕၀င္မ်ားတိုးပြားလာေစရန္ စည္းရံုးေဆာင္ရြက္ႏုိင္ရန္ ရည္ရြယ္ပါသည္။
The Mining Workers’ Federation Myanmar(MWFM) is one of the nine sectoral federations affiliating to the Confederation of Trade Unions Myanmar (CTUM). It currently has almost 5000 members including over 1200 women workers.
The total of 18 basic unions of MWFM are operating in 5 different States/Regions in organizing to increase its membership, in supporting its members and fellow miners to solve their work-related problems and difficulties, in strengthening its leaders’ and members’ capacity so that they will be able to represent the mining workers in more effective and better ways.
Now, as a capacity building activity under the IndustriAll Myanmar Union Building Project jointly funded by SASK, FNV, and FES, MWFM has been conducting two-day Organizing and Recruitment training workshop for its members and leaders in Mandalay starting at 9 am today, 1st September 2018.
The leading speakers in the workshop are U Thaung Nyunt, the president of MWFM, U Myint Oo, vice-president of MWFM, and Daw Zune Pwint Phyu, the trainer of MWFM. The total of 27 union members, the leaders, and the miners (23 men/4 women) from the following unions have been participating in the event.
1. Myanmar Jewellery Mine (Pharkant) Basic Labour Union.
2. Yatanar Theingi Mine Basic Labour Union
3. Myanmar Bawtwin( Mine) Basic Labour Union
4. Nantu Mine, Phyu Sinkay Basic Labour Union
5. Wanpaung Copper Mine Basic Labour Union
6. Sino-Hydro Copper Mine Basic Labour Union
7. The Basic Labour Union of the stone beads workers
8. The Solidarity Mine Basic Labour Union
9. Tahkyan Gold Mine Basic Labour Union.
It aims to review the obstacles currently facing in conducting organizing drives in the ground, to find out ways to increase its membership based on the situations and places. The MWFM leaders will also explain the participants the MWFM actions being carried out in the workplaces for the safety and health of the miners so that the attendees can use this information as a tool in conducting external and internal organizing drives in their respective unions.
In the workshop, the participants will discuss the situations of the cooperation with the government in assisting the scavengers for legal benefits, who have repeatedly lost their lives in the hunting of jade in Pharkant as well.
