A two-day organizing training for IWFM plant level union members

A two-day organizing training for IWFM plant level union members has been, with the support of IndustriAll, conducted at Solidarity Hall, East Dagon in Yangon starting from 9 May, 2018. In order to promote their awareness on the internal organizing, a selected group of newly organized members who have not ever attended any training relating labor affairs were invited to the event. The training has been attended by 24 participants (5 female and 19 male) from 14 different factories locating different regions and representing various sectors of IWFM.
The first day agendas of the training included the introduction of IWFM/CTUM structure, the review of current membership and organizing activities of the unions involving in this training, the brief explanation on definition of a union, the individual and group discussions of workplace difficulties and matters that a union can help its members and the matters it can’t, group work discussion activities of organizing, internal communication, data collecting and giving assignments for trainees.

In this event, the trainer, Mrs Hhin Thazin shared the internal and external organizing strategy,and ways of handling financial issues and her firsthand experiences which she has learned from the previous systematic training course provided by Solidarity Center.

သင္တန္း၏ပထမေန႔အစီအစဥ္မ်ားအျဖစ္ IWFM/CTUM အေႀကာင္းမိတ္ဆက္တင္ျပေပးျခင္း၊ သင္တန္းတြင္ပါဝင္ေသာ သမဂၢမ်ား၏ လက္ရွိအဖြဲ႔ဝင္အေျခအေနနွင္႔စည္းရုံးေရးလႈပ္ရွားမႈမ်ား အေႀကာင္းသုံးသပ္ေဆြးေႏြးျခင္း၊ သမဂၢအဓိပၸါယ္၊အလုပ္ခြင္အခက္အခဲမ်ား၊ သမဂၢ၏ကူညီနုိင္ေသာ ကိစၥ၊မကူနိုင္ေသာျပႆနာမ်ား ကို တစ္ဦးျခင္းနွင္႔အုပ္စုဖြဲ႔ေဆြးေႏြးျခင္းမ်ား၊ စည္းရုံးေရး၊သမဂၢ အတြင္းဆက္သြယ္ေရး၊ အခ်က္အလက္စုေဆာင္းျခင္းနွင္႔ပတ္သက္ေသာေဆြးေႏြးမႈမ်ားအုပ္စုဖြဲ႔ ေဆာင္ရြက္ခဲ႔ျပီး၊ တက္ေရာက္သူမ်ားကို သင္တန္းဦးေဆာင္သူမ်ားမွ ေနာက္ေန႔သင္တန္းအတြက္ တာဝန္ခြဲေဝသတ္မွတ္ေပးခဲ႕ပါသည္။

သင္တန္းဆရာျဖစ္ေသာ ေဒၚႏွင္းသဇင္သည္ Solidarity Centerက ဦးေဆာင္ျပဳလုပ္ေသာ အတြင္း၊ အျပင္ စည္းရံုးေရးမဟာဗ်ဴဟာသင္တန္းမ်ားတြင္ စနစ္တက် ေလ့လာဆည္းပူးခဲ့ေသာ ထို နည္းဗ်ဴဟာအခ်ဳိ႕ ျပန္လည္ အသံုးျပဳျခင္း၊ လက္ေတြ႕အေတြ႕အၾကံဳမ်ားျဖင့္ ေပါင္းစပ္ကာ ျပန္လည္ ေ၀မွ်ခဲ့ပါသည္။
