August 9, 2017North Shore Garment Union Leaders were acquitted by the Court
North Shore Garment Union Leaders were acquitted by the Court on 2nd August 2017.
Since 2014 there were several disputes at North Shore Factory located in Hlaingtharyar indistrial zone in Yangon. Union tried to solve the cases according to Labour Dispute Settlement Mechanism.. The negative responses of the factory pushed the workers to go on strike. After strike, Factory sued 5 union leaders ( Brother Ye Thu Ra President, Sister Lwin Lwin Mar-Secretary, Brother Tun Min Latt- Treasurer, Bro Htet Nay Lin and Brother Aung Myint Myat- EC members) for making unstable condition at factory, blocking the factory and striking which can stop the orders from buyers with the intention to destroy the factory. Daw Eaindra Kyi Tin, the Legal Counsel of Confederation of Trade Unions Myanmar – CTUM helped the union leaders along the case.
After nearly 2 years court process, the court decided the five union leaders were not guilty. The five union leaders were acquitted by the court on 2nd August 2017.

၂၀၁၄ ႏွစ္ကုန္ပုိင္းမွ စ၍ ရန္ကုန္တုိင္း ေဒသၾကီး လိႈင္သာယာစက္မႈဇုန္တြင္ တည္ရွိေသာ North shore အထည္ခ်ဳပ္ စက္႐ံု တြင္ အလုပ္သမားအဖဲြ႔အစည္းေခါငး္ေဆာင္မ်ား၊ အဖြ႔ဲ၀င္မ်ားအား အၾကိမ္ၾကိမ္ အလုပ္မွ ထုတ္ပယ္ျခင္းအပါအ၀င္ အျငင္းပြားမႈမ်ား ျဖစ္ေပၚခဲ့ပါသည္။ ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံလံုးဆုိင္ရာ အလုပ္သမားသမဂၢမ်ားအဖဲြ႔ခ်ဳပ္ CTUM ၏ အဖြဲ႔၀င္ျဖစ္ေသာ North Shore စက္ရံု အေျခခံအလုပ္သမားအဖြဲ႔အစည္း အေနျဖင့္ အျငင္းပြားမႈမ်ားကုိ ၂၀၁၂ ခုႏွစ္ အျငငး္ပြားမႈ ေျဖရွင္းေရး ဥပေဒအရ ေျဖရွင္းရန္ ၾကိဳးပမ္းေဆာင္ရြက္ခဲ့ပါသည္။ စက္ရံုအေနျဖင့္အျပဳသေဘာမေဆာင္ေသာ ျပန္လည္တံု႔ျပန္မႈမ်ားသည္ အလုပ္သမားမ်ားအား သပိတ္ေမွာက္ဆႏၵထုတ္ေဖာ္သည့္ အေျခအေနသုိ႔ ေရာက္ရွိေစခဲ့ပါသည္။ သပိတ္ေမွာက္ဆႏၵထုတ္ေဖာ္မႈျပီးဆံုးျပီးေနာက္ အလုပ္ရွင္သည္ အလုပ္သမားသမဂၢ ဥကၠဌ ဦးရဲသူရ၊ အတြင္းအေရးမွဴး ေဒၚလြင္လြင္မာ၊ ဘ႑ာေရးမွဴး ဦးထြန္းမင္းလတ္ႏွင့္ အျခားေခါင္းေဆာင္မ်ားျဖစ္ေသာ ဦးထက္ေနလင္း၊ ဦးေအာင္ျမင့္ျမတ္တုိ႔အား စက္႐ံုတြင္းဆူပူေအာင္ျပဳလုပ္ျခင္း စက္႐ံု၏အက်ဳိးစီပြားပ်က္စီးေအာင္လုပ္ျခင္း၊ ကုန္အမွာစာ အပ္ထည္မ်ား မေပးပို႔ႏုိင္ေအာင္ ဆႏၵျပျခင္းမ်ားျပဳလုပ္၍ စက္႐ံုတြင္း လူမ်ားကား မ်ားအ၀င္အထြက္မျပဳႏိုင္ရန္ 7နာရီၾကာေအာင္ ပတ္ဆိုထားသည့္အတြက္ မန္ေနဂ်ာမွတရားလိုျပဳကာ တုိင္တန္းတရားစြဲဆိုခဲ့ပါသည္။ ထုိအမႈအားCTUM ၏ ဥပေဒပညာရွင္ ေဒၚအိႁႏၵာၾကည္တင္ (အထက္တန္းေရွ႕ေန) မွ အလုပ္သမားမ်ား/ အလုပ္သမားအဖဲြ႔အစည္း ေခါင္းေဆာင္မ်ားဘက္မွ လိုက္ပါေဆာင္ရႊက္ခဲ့ပါသည္။ အမႉအား၂ႏွစ္ၾကာ စစ္ေဆးၿပီးသည့္ေနာက္တြင္ ၂. ၈. ၂၀၁၇ ေန႔တြင္အလုပ္သမားမ်ားအား တရားရံုးမွ အျပစ္မရွိဟု ဆံုးျဖတ္ကာ အၿပီးအျပတ္ တရားေသ လႊတ္ေပးခဲ့ပါသည္။
