workshop on Dispute Settlement aiming to promote its members’ capacity

Mine Workers’ Federation of Myanmar (MWFM), one of the sectoral federations of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Myanmar (CTUM), is conducting a workshop on Dispute Settlement aiming to promote its members’ capacity to handle workplace disputes successfully at Golden World hotel in Sagaing on 9/10 March 2019.
Being supported by the IndustriALL Union Building Myanmar Project, a total of 17 participants (15 men/2 women) representing 6 different mine areas have been actively attending the workshop including a youth leader and trainer of IWFM is also voluntarily participating and facilitating the meeting.
Sharing of the current workplace problems and difficulties by each participant and group discussions on finding the suitable solutions for these problems were taken place in the workshop, followed by interactive discussions on current labor laws and on the weakness and strength of the dispute settlement mechanism. The participants did the group works for the strategies to solve worksite disputes as well during the two-day workshop.
ျမန္မာနုိင္ငံလုံးဆုိင္ရာအလုပ္သမားသမဂၢမ်ားအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္၏ က႑အလုိက္အဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္တစ္ခုျဖစ္ေသာ ျမန္မာ နုိင္ငံသတၱဳတြင္းအလုပ္သမားမ်ားအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္သည္ အဖြဲ႕ဝင္မ်ား၏ လုပ္ငန္းခြင္အျငင္းပြားမႈ ျပႆနာမ်ားကိုေအာင္ျမင္စြာကိုင္တြယ္ေျဖရွင္းနုိင္ရန္အရည္အခ်င္းျမင္႔တင္ရန္ရည္ရြယ္၍ အျငင္းပြားမႈေျဖ ရွင္းေရးဆုိင္ရာအလုပ္ရုံေဆြးေႏြးပြဲတစ္ခုကို ၂၀၁၉ ခုနွစ္၊မတ္လ ၉/၁၀ ရက္မ်ားတြင္ စစ္ကိုင္းျမိဳ႕တြင္ က်င္းပ လ်က္ရွိပါသည္။
IndustriALL ျမန္မာနုိင္ငံသမဂၢတည္ေဆာက္ေရး စီမံကိန္း၏အကူအညီျဖင္႔ျပဳလုပ္ေသာအဆိုပါေဆြးေႏြးပြဲ သို႔ မုိင္းေဒသ ၆ ခုမွ သမဂၢအဖြဲ႕ဝင္မ်ားနွင္႔ျမန္မာနုိင္ငံကုန္ထုတ္နွင္႔စက္မႈလက္မႈအလုပ္သမားမ်ားအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ မွ လူငယ္ေခါင္းေဆာင္သင္တန္းမႈးတစ္ဦး အပါအဝင္စုစုေပါင္း ၁၇ ဦး (က်ား ၁၅ ဦး/မ ၂ ဦး) တက္ေရာက္ ေဆြးေႏြးေနပါသည္။
ေဆြးေႏြးပြဲတြင္ တက္ေရာက္လာသူ အသီးသီးမွ သက္ဆုိင္ရာ လုပ္ခြင္ျပႆနာနွင္႔အခက္အခဲမ်ားကိုတင္ျပ ျခင္း၊၎ျပႆနာမ်ားအတြက္ သင္႔ေတာ္ေသာအေျဖရနုိင္ရန္အုပ္စုဖြဲ႕ေဆြးေႏြးျခင္းမ်ားကို ေဆာင္ရြက္ခဲ႕ျပီး၊ ဆက္လက္၍ လက္ရွိအလုပ္သမားဥပေဒမ်ားနွင္႔ အျငင္းပြားမႈေျဖရွင္းေရးယႏၱရား၏ အားသာခ်က္၊အားနည္း ခ်က္မ်ားကိုေဆြးေႏြးႀကပါသည္။ ထုိ႔အျပင္ အုပ္စုဖြဲ႕ျပီး လက္ရွိအလုပ္ခြင္အျငင္းပြားမႈမ်ားကို ေျဖရွင္းရန္ဗ်ဴ ဟာမ်ားကိုလည္း အုပ္စုဖြဲ႕တုိင္ပင္ေဆြးေႏြးမႈမ်ားျပဳလုပ္ခဲ႕ပါသည္။
