Peaceful demonstration by the employer of RUI NING garment factory

The second sympathy strike of Industrial Workers’ Federation of Myanmar (IWFM), the affiliate of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Myanmar (CTUM).

IWFM leaders and members staged a peaceful demonstration calling for the immediate re-instatement of Thu Ya Maung, who was fired unfairly and unlawfully by the employer of RUI NING garment factory located in Ngwe Pin Lae industrial zone in Hlaing Tharyar, Yangon.
IWFM also urged the employer of RUI NING garment factory to obey the existing labor laws of Myanmar in the demonstration organized in front of the said factory on 25 February 2019. Over 600 union members of IWFM representing 30 different factory unions actively participated in the activity.

အလုပ္သမားအဖြဲ႔အစည္းအသီးသီးမွ ေခါင္းေဆာင္မ်ားဟာ လုပ္ငန္းခြင္စည္းကမ္းမ်ားခ်ိဳးေဖာက္ခဲ့ျခင္းမ႐ွိပဲ ဥပေဒမဲ့အလုပ္မွထုတ္ပယ္ခဲ့ေသာ ကုိသူရေမာင္ အားခ်က္ခ်င္း အလုပ္ျပန္ခန္႔ေပးေရး ဒုိ႔အေရး
ေႂကြးေၾကာ္သံမ်ားျဖင့္သံၿပိဳင္ေတာင္းဆိုခဲ့ၾကျခင္းျဖစ္သည္။
