ျမန္္မာႏုိင္ငံတြင္ စက္ရံုအလုပ္ရံုမ်ားအတြင္း ေဘးကင္း က်န္းမာစြာ အလုပ္လုပ္ႏုိင္ရန္ ရည္သန္လ်က္ လုပ္ငန္းခြင္ေဘးအႏွၱရယ္ကင္းရွင္းေရးဆိုင္ရာ ဥပေဒမူၾကမ္းကို ၂၀၁၅ ခုႏွစ္တြင္ ေရးဆြဲခဲ့ဲျပီး မၾကာမီ အတည္ျပဳျပဌါန္းေတာ့မည္ျဖစ္သည္။ သို႕ေသာ္လည္း လုပ္ငန္းခြင္တြင္း အလုပ္သမားမ်ား၏ လုပ္ငန္းခြင္ေဘးအႏၱရယ္ကင္းရွင္းေရး အေပၚ သိရွိမႈအားနည္းေနၿပီး အလုပ္သမား၊ အလုပ္ရွင္အဖြဲ႕မ်ားအတြက္ သင္တန္းမ်ားမွာလည္း အေရးေပၚလိုအပ္လ်က္ရွိရာ FES Myanmar ရံုးအေနျဖင့္ CTUM OSH ေကာ္မတီႏွင့္ ပူးေပါငး္ကာ OSH ဆိုင္ရာ ေဆြးေႏြးပြဲမ်ား စဥ္ဆက္မပ်က္ ျပဳလုပ္ေပးလ်က္ရွိသည္။ ေဆြးေႏြးပြဲမ်ား၏ အဓိကရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္မွာ OSH မူ၀ါဒမ်ားကုိ သက္ဆိုင္ရာ အလုပ္သမား အဖြဲ႕အစည္းမ်ားသို႕ အသိေပးျဖန္႕ေ၀ရန္ႏွင့္ တက္ေရာက္လာေသာ အလုပ္သမားအဖြဲ႕ မ်ား၏ သေဘာထားမ်ားကို ေကာက္ခံကာ ပိုမိုေကာင္းမြန္ေသာ မူ၀ါဒမ်ား ထြက္ေပၚလာ ေစရန္ျဖစ္သည္။

In Myanmar, a new #OccupationalSafetyandHealth (OSH) Law has been drafted since 2015 and is about to be passed very soon since there is an emerging need to ensure the #safety, #health and #welfare of workers employed in the various factories and industrial establishments.
As workers’ knowledge on safety and health is still lacking and training courses on vaious aspects of OSH for the employers’ and workers’ organisations need to be developed, the Friedrich-Ebert Stiftung Myanmar Office is supporting a series of workshops by CTUM Myanmar – OSH Committee. Yesterday the second of these workshops took place, aiming to share and discuss their OSH policy with affiliated member’s federations and compile the recommendations from participants to re-strategize the policy to be #practical and #inclusive.
